So many updates. So many updates! We’ve been banging away on this here SteveNiles.com Web thing and have a number of new items for you to check out.
First off, for those of you out there who need the latest Steve Niles goodness, head on over to the store front where we’ve recently added a number of books like “Bigfoot” #4, “The Lurkers” TPB, “The Nail” TPB, “30 Days of Night: Bloodsucker Tales” #7 and the ultra-neato Skull Club Sticker (slap it on your board and chicks will dig you more!).
Over in the Image Gallery we’ve added a whole boat load of stuff. Or would truck load be better? Car load? Whatever. We’ve added a whole bunch of new covers including the cover for Steve & Jeff Mariotte’s new paperback “30 Days of Night: Rumors of the Undead.” Don’t miss the appearances section either as we’ve added a number of pictures of Steve’s appearance at Comic-Con International just a couple of months back.

You know, us American’s like to make jokes about Canada. Usually, we go for the easy jokes, like making fun of how they say the word “about” sound like “a boot,” but hey, we’re easily amused. All kidding aside, we generally like our neighbors to the north and around these here parts lately we really like our Canadian buddies. Pals. Friends. Whatever.
The free alternative weekly “Metro,” circulated in Toronto, gave a freaking glowing review of Steve & Greg’s work on “Freak’s of the Heartland.”
“Steve Niles is very quickly becoming the go-to guy for the best in horror comics.”
For real! Check out the full review by

Steve’s got another Q&A out there, this time with, uhmmm well someone called “TheBigBadWolf” talks with Steve at ComicMonsters.com. No, I don’t know if that’s actually the Big Bad Wolf of fairy tale fame, but if it is, well, uhmm, didn’t the three little pigs kick his ass or something? Regardless, either the man himself or someone posing as him talked with Steve and it’s worth taking a look.

Steve’s been busy doing that promotion thing and we thought we’d point it out for all you fine folk.
First up, there’s this site by Alex Ness where he takes a look at a whole bunch of Steve’s work in an article called “In Praise of Steve Niles: One Great Writer, Many Great Titles.” Dude, Alex, you’re gonna make us weep and that’s not cool when you’re trying to write horror and be all creppy.
Next up, Steve talked with Newsarama about his upcoming book “Monsters on the Prowl” for Marvel Comics and it contains all sorts of preview goodness.
Last, but certainly not least, Steve’s first Batman project is finally solicited and DC Comics has some preview pages of the book at the official site. “Batman: Gotham County Line” #1 is by Steve with art by Scott Hampton and is on sale October 5th. Tell your comic shop, “HEY, I WANT STEVE NILES SCARY BATMAN GOODNESS” or something to that effect. Maybe don’t yell. That might be good.
