Steve Talks “Bigfoot” with The Pulse

February 27th, 2005 by Administrator

Many of you probably picked up the latest Steve Niles/Rob Zombie collaboration “Bigfoot” when it came out last Wednesday. Well, Jen Contino over at the Pulse hooked up with our buddy Steve for a short Q&A about the book. It’s a fun little read, especially when sarcastic Steve shows up later in the interview:

THE PULSE: What’s the plans for Bigfoot after this issue?

NILES: We’re going to take some time off and go to Hawaii. I don’t know what Bigfoot has planned.

Check out the full interview here.

Steve Talks with Cinescape About Everything

February 23rd, 2005 by Administrator

Kurt Amacker over at Cinescape recently wrangled the very busy Steve Niles for an interview. Not a lot of new news, but a lengthy chat about everything Steve currently has on his plate. Steve also talks a bit about the many frustrations that arise out of dealing with Hollywood. Interesting stuff.

Although the best bit may be the fact that Kurt was so nervous before talking with Steve that he actually had to get his drunk on before he spoke with him. Kurt said, “I grabbed the bottle of Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey from the liquor cabinet and took two kingly gulps.” Bottoms up, Kurt!

New Product Added To The Store, Image Gallery Updated

February 22nd, 2005 by Administrator

You may (or may not) have noticed that we’ve come back alive here at the main SteveNiles.com Web site. Sure, the forums are always busy with thrill seeking horror fans, but the main site’s been sitting like a lonely member of the undead without any brains to eat.. That’s changed in recent days as we’ve been updating the images gallery like a bunch of fast running zombies and we’ve added loads of new product to the SteveNiles.Com Store with stuff like the “Complete Dark Days Hard Cover,” a bunch of “Bloodsucker Tales” issues, the new “30 Days of Night” Hard Cover (not to be missed) and much more goodness. And, we’ve added a few graphics and touches here and there on the Web site.

It’s all about clearing out the old cobwebs and making way for the new cobwebs. Or something like that.

Pop Thought Calls “Return To Barrow” A Classic

February 16th, 2005 by Administrator

We like press. We especially like good press. We especially like when reviewers say things like “It should be looked upon as a classic” when describing the “30 Days of Night: Return To Barrow” trade paperback. That’s what the kids over at Pop Thought had to say and well, we here at SteveNiles.com agree with them.

Of course, if we didn’t agree Steve may do some very nasty things to us, but we’re not supposed to talk about that.
