Steve Niles at Dallas ComiCon February 12th & 13th

January 27th, 2005 by Administrator

So, anyone out there reading this in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area? If so, you’re in luck! Our good buddy Steve Niles (he better be our good buddy!) will be traveling to the Lone Star state to meet and greet fans at the fifth annual Dallas ComiCon February 12th and 13th. While we don’t expect him to be wearing a cowboy hat or chaps during the show (you never know!), he is bringing along some friends. Also appearing at the show is his “Bad Planet” writing partner and “Punisher” actor Thomas Jane. Artist Tim Bradstreet, who also took part in the development of “Bad Planet,” will also be at the show. So, come on down for some good comics fun and meet Steve and friends.

For more information on the show, click on over to the convention Web site.

Steve talks to Script Magazine about “30 Days of Night”

While we generally like to be timely around these parts, this here ol’ Webmaster missed a great interview with Steve that was published back in December. Better late than never, right? Well, maybe, but once Steve’s done siccing his cats on us for missing this one, we’ll start scouring the Internet with glee.

At any rate, back in December Steve did an interview with Script Magazine that can be read here. It’s a nice little article that’s mostly a primer for those in the screenwriting world that aren’t familiar with Steve’s work, but he talks about a number of things such as the nightmare scenario regarding the “30 Days of Night” video game rights, screenwriting, why all his comics work is now set-up at IDW and much more. It’s worth a read through.
